Read more about UChicago's 2017 Marshall Scholar, Erin Simpson, here.

The Marshall Scholarships fund one or two to three years of study in any field, leading to the receipt of a UK university degree. The scholarship includes tuition, fees, travel expenses and a stipend. It may be used at any university in the United Kingdom at either the undergraduate or graduate level.

Most applications are made for the standard two-year Marshall Scholarship. The one-year program is directed to students with firm professional or academic plans upon return to the US. Selected degree program must be longer than 10 months. (None of the MSt programs at Oxford are eligible for the one year scholarship.) Students may apply to EITHER the Marshall two year or one year, but NOT both.
