Throughout the year, the College Center for Scholarly Advancement offers information sessions and workshops as a resource to students who are considering applying for or who are in the process of applying for scholarships and fellowships.

Tuesday, March 13, 2018, 5:30 - 6:30 pm, Saieh Hall for Economics Room 203 -- Schwarzman Scholarship Information Session with program Director of Admissions, Rob Garris
Learn more about the internationally competitive Schwarzman Scholars Program to China from special guest Rob Garris, Global Director of Admissions for the Schwarzman Scholars Program. The Schwarzman Scholars program provides full funding for a one-year master's program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, with a targeted focus on public policy, economics and business, and international studies. It is open to US and International students.
Rob will provide detailed information about the Scholars Program and share insights into the application and selection process. Staff from the College Center for Scholarly Advancement (CCSA) will also provide information on how UChicago supports its Schwarzman candidates through their application processes. All current undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni are welcome to attend.

UChicago is delighted to host Dr. John Hennessy, former president of Stanford Univerity and co-founder of the Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program, for an information session on the international competitive graduate fellowship to Stanford.
Please join us to learn more about the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program, will provides full financial support to pursue a degree in any of the 145+ graduate programs at Stanford - from PhDs in education, engineering, humanities, and sciences to professional degrees like JD, MBA, MD, or MFA.
The event will include a presentation covering Stanford University, the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program, and the admission process. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions of Dr. Hennessy and CCSA staff will be on hand to answer questions about how UChicago supports its Knight-Hennessy candidates.
